Colleen Moore RN, MSN, MHA

Hi, my name is Colleen Moore. I have been an RN for over 34 years. I went into nursing because of a job I had as an Office Manager for an Oncology clinic. While working there, I became very attached to the patients and found myself wanting to do more for them and at the same time I was so inspired by them.

I found it very profound that people who had a terminal illness had a much more positive outlook on life and a better attitude then most of the people I knew.

At that time I was working on my Baccalaureate degree in Business. I wasn’t very happy personally or professionally. I wasn’t crazy about creating a career in business and I couldn’t stay at the Oncology clinic making $10.00/hr so I did the unthinkable (to me anyways) I applied to the nursing program, quit my job, got a job as a Nurse’s Aide on the weekends and went back to school full time.

My first job as a Graduate Nurse was on an Oncology floor and even now Oncology is my passion.

I am currently a Professor of Nursing for a local State College. Prior to this I was the Director of a 62-bed Medical/Surgical/Oncology unit at a hospital in S.W. Florida. I loved this position because I had the ability to mentor and guide new and young nurses. I held this position for 7 years.

I am a Certified Transformational Health & Wellness Life Coach, Hypnotherapist, Reiki Practitioner and certified NLP and EFT Practitioner. I love life coaching because it allows me to use all of my experience and talents to help others achieve their health and wellness goals and dreams. My whole life has centered around helping others, my patients, my staff, my students and my coaching clients.

I consider myself to be very blessed. I have a wonderful and supportive family. I have achieved many goals including two master’s degrees, several certifications and numerous career aspirations. I have two successful websites and I own my own business.

I look forward to helping you create a life that you desire.

"What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals."

As always be well,

Colleen
